Okay, if you've read the first book in the Fragments of Alchemy series, the Code Keeper, you will remember Chadwick. HE'S the main character in this one! How cool is that? He's SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER. Thea is still there, too, just as awesome as ever, so don't worry. Even with all the twists and turns and devastating turn of events in this book, it has the best ending and hook for book three. I can't wait for it to come out!
This is a very cool book with a complex plot that kept me engaged all the way through. I think you'll really really like it if you enjoyed the first book in this series. The magical mystery in this book is even better than the first book! The Alchemy/magic is so awesome, the descriptions and writing style are fun and easy to read, Chadwick's voice is spunky and full of wit and humor. The new magical creatures in this book are so unique and cute. They are two of my favorite parts about the book.
I cannot wait for the next book to come out on Kindle. It is getting posted on Wattpad now, if you read books there. Check it out!
