Book #3 from the series: In My Head First Edition

In My Heart: The Conclusion to In My Head

Teen Sports Romance and Medical Drama

About

Six months after their son is diagnosed with epilepsy, Sheri and Russ Hastings move to San Francisco, California so Kaden can see an epileptologist. After a diagnostic test, Kaden is prescribed a new medication and given permission to play basketball. Things are looking up, but there’s a problem. Kaden’s new medication makes him dizzy and moody, he likes a girl in his art class when he’s already dating a blonde cheerleader, and he hasn’t touched a basketball in six months. Okay, make that three problems.

Not to mention the fact that Kaden hasn’t told anyone at school about the epilepsy. The pressure is on as Kaden and his twin brother Logan attend basketball tryouts with their hearts set on playing for the varsity team.

In My Heart is the moving conclusion to the three-part series that takes us into the heart of a family torn apart by epilepsy. A.C. Sutliff offers us an unforgettable story about what it truly means to lose control of your life, and the lengths we will go to take back control, fix our mistakes, and protect the ones we love.

Praise for this book

I absolutely LOVE this book series! It’s touching, funny, realistic, and filled with good teen drama. Like the author is either a teenager or at least really genuinely remembers what it was like to be a teenager! Also though I don’t know what it would be like to have epilepsy, I think the author’s writing about it is very realistic and written in a way that helps others understand a little about what it would be like. This book touched me so deeply my eyes watered quite often. It can be a little confusing because the author tells so many characters perspectives but personally I like all the characters so much. They are so unique. My favorite is Mirna and my only complaint is that she’s not in the book enough. If you are reading this, give this book a chance. You can read part of it on Wattpad if you want to see if you’ll like it first.
